References to meeting at the start of the walks at Imperial Road imply members congregate please, at the junction of Imperial Road/Avenue Road, aiding newcomers to find the group. If you are going to Imperial Road and will require a lift to the walk starting point, please will you try to make your arrangement with a car driver in advance.  Hopefully, this will make it more likely that there can be a seat available for you; but of course, this cannot be guaranteed. Please remember to offer your driver 10p per mile when being given a lift e.g. a walk that starts 15 miles from Imperial Road = 30 miles round journey @ 10p per mile = £3.00 to pay.

Our walks cover a large area of the south-west Midlands, with only a few of them being ‘adopted’ walks. Occasionally they are photographed and documented. A few of them can be discovered on our Other Walks pages.

Walks leaders are always in great demand, and the Society is grateful to anyone who is willing to lead walks either regularly, just now and then or even as a one-off. You may wish to offer a walk for a future Walks Programme, in which case just click here to access a form in PDF format for that purpose. Just print it off, fill it in and hand it to any walks organiser or committee member.
