A week of walks in the
Isle of Wight
On arrival at the Hotel Eversley there was an hour long walk to familarise the group with the town and local area. During the next five days of mainly excellent weather, a 10 mile and a 6 mile walk was offered each day and on four days the coach was also used to take non walkers to places of interest, including Osbourne House. Entertainment was offered on three evenings in the form of a slide show, country dancing and a quiz. Before leaving the island on the last day there was an extended coffee stop in Godshill to look round this very attractive village. The photos below give a taster of the fun had by all.
